Advertising on the Newport website

Are you interested in advertising on this website?

There currently exists on the bottom of each page of the web site a banner which offers advertising – this banner will now be able to offer up to 5 adverts on a 4 second rotational basis.  The same rotational banner will exist on each page.  Two of the adverts on the banner are reserved one for Newport Town Council and one for The Chamber ofTrade.

The cost of the remaining three adverts are as follows:-

Advert 1 - Twelve month advertising slot at a cost of £600 per Year January - December (price will be amended pro rata as it is now March)

Adverts 2 & 3 - One month advertising slot at a cost of £50 per month.

Newport Town Council and The Chamber of Trade reserve the right to refuse any advertisement request they consider unsuitable or controversial to the Town website.

Banner adverts can be supplied by the advertiser. The image must be 468 x 60 pixels  and in .gif, .png or .jpg format.  Banners can be created for the advertiser on supply of all relevant info for the ad and any colour specifications or photos. This may be separately charged and should be discussed at the earliest opportunity with the Newport Website managers. Here is an example showing the actual size:

For further information please complete the form - downloable from the downloads section- and return to Mae'r cyfeiriad ebost yn cael ei warchod rhag spam bots, rhaid i chi alluogi Javascript i'w weld. by the 20th of the month to secure a place on the advert.  The applications will be treated on a first come first serve basis and applications need to be submittedfor on a monthly basis.  No block booking.  This is a pilot period and will be reviewed at the end of December 2009
