Newport Surf Life Saving Club HouseAs one of Newport's longest established clubs (est.1970) we have a long and successful record of service to the community. During that period we have rescued in excess of three hundred people with many lives being saved. We have taught skills to the youth of the community including swimming, first aid, resuscitation and water safety awareness. Our voluntary service has supplied qualified lifeguards both on the beach and at Crymych pool.

Originally housed in a railway carriage, we now have extensive facilities in a purpose-built club house on Newport beach.

Our voluntary service has supplied qualified lifeguards both on the beach and at Crymych pool.

We continue with weekly training sessions for club members at Crymych pool, on the beach and with the inshore rescue boat. The safety boat service is available to all water sports between Dinas Head and Morfa Head. We have a full social programme and participate enthusiastically n a variety of local events.
