Aim

At Ysgol Bro Ingli we aim to provide an education which meets the needs of each pupil, and helps that pupil to develop to his or her full potential. This education should enable him or her to live confidently and constructively in the society of which he or she is a part.

Objectives:

1. To provide an education which meets the needs of the individual pupil, an education which helps the individual to develop to his / her full potential and which prepares him / her for the society of which he / she is a part.
2. To help the children towards an awareness of their abilities, so that they can fully develop their gifts and grow into confident adults.
3. To ensure that the children learn how to learn, so that they know how and where to look for information when it is needed. This will enable the children to adapt and respond appropriately to all kinds of situations.
4. To teach the children how to think and solve problems mathematically, scientifically and through technology.
5. To ensure that the children are proficient in both Welsh and English in the three aspects of language – speaking and listening, reading, writing.
6. To transmit an appreciation of our local culture and environment, so that the children will appreciate and understand the culture and environments of the wider world.
7. To meet the children’s need for movement and physical activity, for artistic, creative and musical experiences, and to develop their talents in these fields.
8. To help the pupils to have high personal and social values, so that they will respect others’ views , beliefs and property
