There's lots to do in Newport and plenty of cafes and restaurants to eat and rest. There's a good range of shops, including an excellent health food shop with organic veg, a quailty butchers shop also with veg, a hardware store and a Spar. There are also gift shops, two galleries, a post office and a fashionable clothing shop.

Bird Watching

Pembrokeshire is a fantastic place for bird watching and Newport  is a great destination for bird watchers, from the iron bridge you can look over the estuary's wetlands to see Ducks, Swans, Gulls, Egrets and more or watchthe sun setting over the sea

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a stunningly beautiful area and Newport sits in one of its most scenic sites from which you can access the rest of the park and its attractions.
